Do you know mourning jewelry?

Ok, this may sound strange. However, I have already made mourning jewelry. While creating and wearing this special jewelry it brought my thoughts close to the one who passed away. Making something special for that last honor is like a hommage.

During the reign of Queen Victoria, mourning jewelry was very popular with lots of onyx. I also love to use onyx in traditional black or green together with hematites, garnets, violet amethysts, black silver and porcelain charms, which represent the fragility of life. By the way, Queen Victoria indeed mourned for her husband Edward over a period of 40 years, to be precise from 1861 bis 1901. What a luck guy!
